In Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew, Ont., Jan. 8, 1972, Ellen Melissa Frizell, in her 102nd year, beloved wife of the late Peter N. Frizell, dear mother of Mrs. Norman McLachlin (Mae), Arnprior; Mrs. M. H. Baird (Odo), Ottawa; and eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Resting at McPhail and Perkins Funeral Home, Renfrew. Funeral Monday, 2 p.m. Interment Pinecrest cemetery.

In hospital on Friday, March 17, 1978, George Braodhead, husband of the late Jane Higgins, in his 103rd year, father of Mrs. Eric Eardley (Rilla), Ottawa; also survived by grandson David and two great-grandsons Christopher and Michael. Private service was held at Pinecrest cemetery chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment Pinecrest cemetery.

According to the Ontario marriage registration, George W Broadhead (son of John W Broadhead and Maria Holt) married Jean Higgins in Peel county, 7 September 1904.
