At home on Tuesday, February 11, 1986, Elizabeth Lillian Jones, in her 101st year dearly beloved wife of the late Alphonse Hekking. Dear mother of Mrs. Betty Slade and Margaret (Mrs. L. A. Mosher). Also survived by 2 grandsons and 2 great-grandsons. A private service was held on Wednesday. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.

According to the Ontario marriage registration (1917 #015521), Lillian Elizabeth Jones (daughter of William Owen Jones and Jane Costain) married Alphonse Marie Hekking in Woodstock, 5 September 1917.

Accoring to the Ontario birth registration (1885 #026277), Elizabeth Jones (daughter of William Jones, labourer, and Jane Costine) was born in East Zorra, 4 May 1885.
