The old station is located northeast of the intersection of Notre Dame and Dignard.
The Russell Township fire station for Embrun was at 893 Notre Dame from 1971 until 2014. The new station was built at 1183 Route 300 in 2014.
In 2016, the old station building is host to the Brasserie Étienne Brûlé Brewery.
