Peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital, on March 1, 1988, Jennie May Livingstone (nee Moffat), in her 103rd year. Predeceased by husband William Livingstone, daughter Pearl Powell, Verna Tennant; and son Kenneth Livingstone. Survived by a sister Sybil Moffat; grandsons Ian and Lynn Tennant, William and Norman Powell, Ian Livingstone; granddaughter Sybil Powell, as well as many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Vincent Hospital and the Ottawa Centre Nursing Home for the many years of kind assistance shown to Jennie. In hospital, Sunday, Sept. 6, 1964, William James Livingstone, 281 O'Connor, aged 83 years, husband of Jennie Moffat, father of Kenny and Mrs. W. W. Tennant (Verna), brother of Robert, Gordon, Arnott, Toronto, Mrs. Kate Morris, Mrs. A. Perkins, Mrs. Stella McCallum, Mrs. A. Grant, Mrs. Edith Barry, all of Toronto, and Mrs. Ken Hill of Belleville. Service was held from Hulse and Playfair West Chapel, 1051 Byron Avenue, Tuesday, 11 a.m. Interment Pinecrest cemetery.
According to the Ontario marriage registration (1908 #017222), Jennie May Moffet (daughter of James Moffet and Aliza Kenny) married William James Livingston in Grattan, 25 Sep 1908.
