The following text is taken from The Ottawa Journal newspaper, 20 January 1977, page 42.

In the Bronson Home, Tuesday, January 18, 1977, Amy Leigh, beloved wife of the late Albert Edward Leigh; dear mother of Mrs. W. Westwell (Doris), Ottawa; Mrs. L. Gibson (Joan), Germany; and Mr. Jack Leigh, Vancouver; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Resting at the Tubman Funeral Home, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel, Friday, 3 p.m. Interment Pinecrest cemetery.

According to the marriage registers for the Church of England in London, England, Amy Isabel Child (age 28, daughter of James Child, cabinet maker) married Albert Edward Leigh in St Luke Kentish Town, 13 April 1903.
